Jan Niklas Schoepf is an architect and designer currently based in vienna, austria.
His main expertise is in the fields of architectural design, architectural concepts, 3d modeling, digital modeling, digital design, building information modeling, digital fabrication (cnc-milling, lasercutting, 3d printing), architectural visualizations graphic design, 3d animations and augmented - virtual reality as design but also as representation tools.

Jan gained his professional experience with a number of architectural but aswell construction firms around austria and europe, where he was involved in a wide range of high profile projects ranging from masterplans to product design.
he also held a teaching assistent positions for 2 years at the university of applied arts vienna | die angewandte | studio greg lynn, where he was responsible for digital fabrication such as cnc - milling, lasercutting, 3d printing. Jan was working at the Viennese Architecture Office Pichler & Traupmann Architekten, where he worked as an Architect | Designer but as well as a 3D - Modelling Specialst with the main focus of modeling in - but also transfering complex 3D Models into - a Building Information Environment.
Since May 2021 Jan is collaborating with the renowed multidisciplinary architecture and urban design practice UNStudio (United Network Studio), where his main responsibility lies in architectural design and also Building Information Modelling.
in the year 2016 he got awarded together with michael knoll and felix stadler (structural engineer) for their project "lufthafen wachau" with the first prize of the concrete student trophy, a national interdisciplinary architecture competiton for students.
